Right in the heart of East Haven, Cabaret on Main Theater has become one of Connecticut's award winning destinations for live entertainment, offering audiences an experience unlike any other on the shoreline.

Founded by Billy DiCrosta and Neil Fuentes, Cabaret on Main Theater was built on the belief that live theatre should be intimate, welcoming, and accessible to everyone. Since opening its doors, the theater has earned multiple awards for artistic excellence while becoming the home of the award winning New Haven Academy of Performing Arts and the resident stage of Broadway On Main Theatre Company. Together, these organizations have created a vibrant cultural destination where professional artists, emerging performers, and community members come together to celebrate creativity, storytelling, and the transformative power of the performing arts.

What makes Cabaret on Main truly unique is the experience. Every seat offers an up close

connection to the performers, creating an atmosphere that simply cannot be replicated in a large auditorium. Many productions feature immersive projection technology that surrounds audiences with breathtaking visual environments. For many performances, guests can also enjoy our popular Premium Cabaret Seating, complete with table seating where they are welcome to bring their own food and beverages, creating a relaxed and memorable night at the theatre. From Broadway musicals and timeless plays to concerts, comedy, family entertainment, and special events, every visit offers something new.

Community has always been at the heart of our mission. Through Broadway On Main Theatre Company, our nonprofit resident company, we are committed to expanding access to the arts through scholarships, educational programs, partnerships with local organizations, and opportunities that inspire the next generation of performers. This fall and holiday season promises something for audiences of every age. The season begins in September with the Pulitzer Prize winning classic Driving Miss Daisy. October brings the family favorite NHAOPA Halloween Spooktacular, followed by the festive musical The Santa Switch. The celebrations continue with the beloved NHAOPA Christmas Spectacular before concluding with a truly extraordinary production of A Christmas Carol, starring Patrick Spadaccino in a remarkable one man performance portraying all 27 characters from Charles Dickens' timeless masterpiece.
