Old Lyme, September 6, 2022: You are invited to the Art Supply Expo, a free event on October 8, 2022 from 10 – 3 at the Lyme Art Association! Discover new art products and learn new techniques. Find special deals, free samples, and discounts. Experience art demos by artists, Roy Kinzer and Scott Stevenson. And after you’ve shopped, be sure to visit Lyme Art Association’s exhibition, New England Landscape. For over a century, the natural beauty of New England has inspired Lyme Art Association member artists to create sublime works that capture the multifaceted color and character of the landscape.

Artists will be thrilled with product displays and art samples from Chelsea Classical Studio Fine Art Materials, Dixon, (seller of Strathmore, Canson and Arches papers), Golden Artist Colors, Jerry’s Artarama of Connecticut, JJC Industries, (distributor of Daniel Smith paints), MacPherson’s, Royal Talens, Silver Brush, and Wholesale Frame Company.

About the Lyme Art Association: Founded in 1914 by the American Impressionists, the Lyme Art Association continues the tradition of exhibiting and selling representational artwork by its members and invited artists, as well as offering art instruction, lectures, and other public programs to the community. The Lyme Art Association is located at 90 Lyme Street in Old Lyme, CT, in a building designed by Lyme colony artist and architect, Charles Adams Platt, and located within the national historic district. Admission is free with contributions appreciated. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 10 - 5pm, or by appointment.
