Essex Bank Community Investment Program Awards Funding to Essex Winter Series

ESSEX, CT (May 2026) – Essex Winter Series is grateful to once again be one of the area’s local nonprofit recipients of funding from the Essex Bank Community Investment Program (CIP). As President & CEO Diane Arnold and Vice President Elizabeth Kuhns noted their congratulatory comments, “We are delighted to provide you with some good news and monetary support for your nonprofit’s contributions to the community.”

The CIP represents Essex Bank’s commitment to community banking, providing donations to local nonprofits since 1995. This year, the ballot portion of the CIP allowed each Bank customer to select three out of 96 local organizations to receive a portion from the $120,000 allotment based on the voting percentages for each nonprofit.

With a thank you to both Essex Bank and the customers who included Essex Winter Series in their votes, this year’s amount of $420 awarded to EWS will help to support our season programming, which each year touches the lives of so many who attend our world-class classical and jazz concerts as well as our outreach performances.
