Sarah Watson Anderson has always had an eye for creative photography even as a child using her first Brownie camera. She had formal instruction in photography in high school and more recently through an online course. She loves to photograph nature, sunsets, beach scenes, seasonal scenes, mountains, and more recently people. As a travel buff, she photographs cityscapes, flora and fauna, animals and birds and landscapes on coastal Connecticut and within a large swath of the United States. Sarah has exhibited her photography at the Henry Carter Hull Library in Clinton, Connecticut and The Spectrum Art Gallery in Essex, Connecticut. Examples of her work have also been on display at the 2024 Summer Arts Festival in Essex, Connecticut, the Madison Arts Festival in October 2024 and at the Guilford (CT) Art Center’s Holiday Arts Expo (November 1, 2024 – January 5, 2025). Most recently she exhibited two pieces of her work at Spectrum Art Gallery, Essex, CT (May 16 – July 6, 2025).
