Retired International Tour Manager

I have always been curious and interested in meeting people from, and in, faraway places. Their faces fascinate me, as do the connections that develop between perfect strangers. Early on I learned that we don’t need to speak the same language to communicate and connect. As I traveled the world I was struck by the connection of our common needs, humanity -- and kindness. My images are the result of a quality camera, a good eye and opportunities with unique subjects in areas off the beaten path. I’ve always loved photography and believe in its power to influence, inspire and motivate, as well as delight and entertain. While living in New York's Hudson Valley, I created the Hudson River Photography Competition & Exhibition; and Celebrate Ossining: People, Places and Things Exhibition. Now, I’m using my own images to focus attention on our common humanity. I’ve chosen people in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and South America, captured on film in a moment in an ordinary day, working, playing, living their daily lives.
