Congratulations to the accepted artists of IMAGES 2025! Our judges have selected 97 works from a submission pool of over 500 wonderful photographs.
"It was a true honor to serve as a judge alongside Robert Calafiore and Kristen Joy Emack for this year's Images 2025, The 45th Annual Competition for Connecticut Photographers. Judging photographic entries is a nuanced process, demanding both subjective and objective evaluation. The judges considered a blend of factors, including artistic vision, storytelling, technical skill, composition, and emotional impact. Collaborating with the other judges allowed perspectives to be challenged, understanding to be broadened, and selections to be made that truly captured the spirit and strength of the submitted work. Ultimately, it was this collective lens that made the process so meaningful and the results so rewarding."
