About the Event
Shoreline Arts Alliance is proud to hold its 2nd Annual Celebration of the Arts on Thursday, June 22 at Scranton Memorial Library in Madison. The event, which runs from 5-7 PM is free to the public and will be hosted by movie actor and writer, Mark Famiglietti. The celebration will include performances, readings and exhibits by winners of Shoreline Arts Alliance’s 2023 Scholarships in the Arts, IMAGES 2022, the 2023 Tassy Walden New Voices in Children’s Literature competition and SAA’s 2023 Future Choices juried art exhibition for high school students. In addition to seeing emerging artists, attendees will be able to view the work of professional artists and enjoy interactive art projects.
Celebration of the Arts is sponsored in part by Community Foundation of Middlesex County, Connecticut Office of the Arts, Guilford Foundation, Guilford Savings Bank, National Roofing, Scranton Memorial Library and The Village Chocolatier.
