Wesleyan Potter’s Spring Sale will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. rain or shine at the Wesleyan Potters studios, 350 South Main Street in Middletown, CT. Work by more than 30 local artists will feature one-of-a-kind gift ideas just in time for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduations and the bridal season.

Shoppers will find affordable and distinctive pottery, jewelry and handwoven pieces created by artists from all parts of Connecticut. People who have shopped previous Wesleyan Potters sales will recognize works by many of their favorite artists, and all shoppers will find unusual handmade gifts not available anywhere else.

The sale will also include a beautiful variety of seasonal plants and flowers donated by Michaels Greenhouse. A table with assorted works donated by artists from Wesleyan Potters will directly support the growth and the development of youth and adult need-based scholarships. Demon-strations of wheel thrown pottery and handweaving are scheduled throughout the day, and snacks and refreshments will be available on site. Bring your friends and loved ones and come find new treasures while supporting the Middletown artistic community!

Parking for the event will be available in the lot at the rear of the building and can be accessed from Birdsey Ave. The sale is free and open to the public. All proceeds benefit local artists and the Wesleyan Potters Fundraising and Scholarship Funds. Wesleyan Potters is a non-profit craft school and artist cooperative, established in 1948.
