Running from August 11th-15th (for ages 6 to 12) and August 18th-22nd (for ages 8 to 14,) each week promises a whirlwind of excitement from 9am to 3pm daily. Participants will dive into the magical world of theater, honing their acting and stage movement skills under the guidance of instructors Dan Schmidt & Mo Andres.

Tuition for each 5 day session: $250 (includes snacks, supervised recreation, theater games and activities, with a focus on participation in rehearsals and performances.)

SESSION 1 - August 11th - 15th, 9am - 3pm (for students ages 6 to 12) culminates in a mini- production of The Lorax at 6pm on Friday, August 15th: Based on Dr. Seuss's 1971 classic tale, The Lorax chronicles the plight of the environment and the Lorax who "speaks for the trees" and confronts the Once-ler, a business magnate who causes environmental destruction.

SESSION 2 - August 18th - 22nd, 9am - 3pm (for students ages 8 to 14) culminates in a mini-production of The Jātaka Tales at 6pm on Friday, August 22nd. Adapted from lesson-based stories (similar to Aesop’s Fables,) The Jātaka Tales animate the historical Buddha's recollections of his past lives as he journeyed on a bumpy road toward enlightenment. In these stories - which feature animals as the central characters - the Buddha shares how he overcame challenges in creative, humorous and sometimes mischievous ways.
