Goodspeed Musicals held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 16 making its 150-year-old home, The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Conn., more welcoming and accessible for patrons. The project features a renovated front entrance; which includes a new ADA ramp, an expanded porch, automatic-open front doors, energy-efficient lighting, new landscaping, and a statue of Sandy the dog from Annie (which got its start at The Goodspeed) in honor of Tony-winning animal trainer Bill Berloni; as well as a completely redesigned and improved parking area.

Pictured about to cut the ceremonial ribbon is U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, Board of Trustees President Hila Rosen and Artistic Director Donna Lynn Hilton. For more information, visit www.goodspeed.org/capital-campaign
