[NEW HAVEN, CT, SEPTEMBER 2025] PONYBIRD (song-writer Jennifer Dauphinais) has announced their upcoming sixth release, Fire & Stars, scheduled for 2025. Preceding Ponybird’s Deep Meats I & II sister EPs, the first two singles for the Fire & Stars album, “I Could Never Love” and “Feel”, were released to all major media outlets in 2019 and 2021 respectively, followed by production delays for the full album release. Including acoustic songs that were written between 2013 and 2021, Fire & Stars captures the effortless, gutsy folk style that Dauphinais is best known for.

Fire & Stars will drop on September 26, 2025 on Bandcamp and all major distribution and streaming sites, followed by physical disc sales online and at local performances. The 8 song LP is a collection of songs were recorded with a variety of friends across a variety of spaces, and includes the talents of local musicians Stephen Peter Rodgers (Mighty Purple), Andre Roman (Murdervan, Pinto Graham), Sean O’Reilly, Rick & Michele Gedney (Open Book), and Jed Teres. All songs were written, recorded, produced, and performed by Dauphinais with engineering support from Tiny Buker, Deadly West, and Sean O’Reilly Studios, each based in CT. Dauphinais is slated to perform at Guilford Porch Fest next month. A record release performance is scheduled for October 18th at Roman Electric Guitars in North Haven, CT featuring special guest, Lys Guillorn.
