Virtual Workshops at Hartford Artisans Weaving Center
The Hartford Artisans Weaving Center, a new member of the Shoreline Arts Alliance, is pleased to offer a variety of virtual workshops in fiber arts. We invite you to visit our website to read about our virtual learning options including our beginner Circle Weaving Workshop and our Lace Workshop Series for intermediate and advanced weavers at www.weavingcenter.org. We will be adding additional dates and offerings!
The Hartford Artisans Weaving Center enriches lives through hand-weaving. We run a one-of-a-kind artisan weaving program for the blind, visually-impaired, and senior populations. We teach classes for all ages and sell equipment and supplies to fellow weavers.

Our core program and central focus is the artisan therapeutic weaving program. In non-Covid times, to support this program and our mission of teaching and promoting handweaving to all, the Center offers weaving classes, an annual 3-day workshop, a youth summer workshop, and private instruction to members of the general public. Currently, due to Covid, we offer a selection of virtual workshops and our online store to support our artisan program. For more information about our artisan program and to shop a selection of our products please visit www.weavingcenter.org.
