Cellist Sterling Elliott is a 2021 Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient and the winner of the Senior Division of the 2019 National Sphinx Competition. Acclaimed for his stellar stage presence and joyous musicianship, he has already appeared with major orchestras such as The Philadelphia Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony Orchestra, The Cleveland Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
Sterling was recently featured in the Sunday New York Times "Arts & Leisure" section extolling his performance of the Brahms' Double Concerto with violinist Gil Shaham at the Aspen Music Festival last month. He is one of the youngest people ever to substitute with the New York Philharmonic, and his name is now a constant at music festivals and as an orchestral soloist throughout the country. He's only 24, but has been playing the cello since he was 3.
Chinese pianist Wynona Wang was selected as First Prize winner of the 2018 Concert Artists Guild International Competition. An active performer in China, Europe and the United States, Wynona recently earned her Performer’s Diploma under the tutelage of the eminent pianist Alessio Bax at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She made her New York debut recital in Carnegie Weill Hall in the 2019-2020 season.
Their program includes works by Dmitri Shostakovich, Brian Raphael Nabors, Camille Saint-Saëns, and Josef Suk.
