Creative Expression & Art Exploration Abound for Kids at Guilford Art Center Summer Program

Guilford, CT – Summer is the perfect time for kids to experience art! The summer youth art program at Guilford Art Center is geared towards developing your child’s creative expression, artistic skills and social interaction through hands-on activities.

Registration is now open for weekly programs that run from June 20 – August 19 for kids ages 5-12, plus workshops and classes for tweens and teens. Kids can attend morning or afternoon sessions, or attend full-day with bridge care in between. Financial aid is also available.

Classes cover a range of mediums and themes, including ceramics, painting, photography, sewing, recycled sculpture, mixed media, art & geometry, metalworking, sensory art, printmaking (collagraphy), drawing cartoons and more. Workshops include leather working and paper quilling. Teen classes include blacksmithing, stained glass and leather working.
