ARTFARM presents Where Are We Now?: A Performative Grief & Healing ritual to tend our racial wounds

June 25 – 27 outdoors on the campus of Middlesex Community College

ARTFARM artists merge ritual and performance to speak to this moment in our culture in relation to race and inequity and offer a balm for our collective healing.

Ritual, the root of theater, is an ancient form of healing where emotion and gesture guide the practice. Integrating trans-generational and historic trauma while celebrating unique ancestries is essential for a healthy, cohesive society. Increased consciousness through sharing and acknowledging community grief can lead to an opening of hearts and to cultural transformation.
