Kids for Kids, Dancing for Life, Inc will hold the annual Connecticut dance competition at North Haven High school April 25-28. All proceeds from this four-day long event go to local children in need. The organization celebrates 26 years and has given out over 2.5 million dollars to various children’s charities during that time. This weekend alone they will give over $100,000.
While the heart of this competition continues to be kids helping kids and a weekend full of talented young dancers, the organization is excited to have the continued tradition of “Dance Dads” as well. A special section of the competition is for fathers volunteering to dance to raise money towards Camp No Limits, a camp that offers support for children with limb loss and their families. This is one of the many causes that will receive contributions. Giving back is the spirit of Kids for Kids and it is wonderful to see kids inspiring their parents and community to be involved as well.
Come see what this incredible event is all about!
