Eileen Eder has been an avid painter for over 20 years. Her style is ‘contemporary realist’ and is she known for her oil paintings of still life and landscapes.
Eileen has an MFA from New York Academy of Art and has studied at the NY Studio School, Rhode Island School of Design and JSS in Civita, Italy. She continues to study with master artists, always striving to improve her craft and creativity. Eileen is a member of Salmagundi Club, Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society, Signature member of Hudson Valley Art Association, Signature member of CT Academy of Fine Arts, and an Elected Artist of Lyme Art Association. Eileen shares her knowledge through teaching and has a large following of students. She is currently teaching at the Lyme Art Association in Old Lyme, CT.
A frequent award winner, Eileen exhibits in juried shows locally and nationally. Eileen has been featured in multiple publications including The Artists Magazine and Plein Air Magazine.
