HAMDEN, CT, August 12, 2024 – Artistic Director Lisa Kim Sanborn has announced
New Haven Ballet will offer classes this fall in the Town of Hamden. The new studio is
conveniently located at 785 Ridge Road in Hamden at Congregation Mishkan Israel. It
features ample parking, Marley flooring, and mirrors. Interested members of the public
are invited to stop by to tour the new studio on Thursday, August 29, at 4:00 p.m. and
learn more about New Haven Ballet’s programs.
Artistic Director Lisa Sanborn notes, “As new members of Hamden’s community, we are
excited to partner with Congregation Mishkan Israel. This new studio will enable us to
better serve the Whitneyville and Spring Glen neighborhoods of New Haven, North
Haven, Hamden, Northford, Wallingford, Woodbridge, and surrounding communities.
We look forward to this wonderful opportunity and meeting our neighbors. New Haven
Ballet hopes this partnership leads to additional class offerings, performances, and
other occasions to support high-quality arts education, artistic development, and
excellence in the community. We invite and hope you will join us!”
In addition to the Hamden studio, New Haven Ballet will also offer classes at a new
location in New Haven at ECA ACES, 55 Audubon Street, in New Haven. These studios
join other locations in New Haven, Bethany and Branford. Fall registration is open

The Nutcracker, which New Haven Ballet performs at the Shubert Theatre December
13-15, 2024.
