I received a BFA and MFA in 1971 and 1973 from Washington University in St. Louis. In 1991, I was awarded a Visual Arts Fellowship from The National Endowment for the Arts. My work has been featured in Artforum and reviewed by The New York Times, Artforum and ARTnews. In 1993, I began teaching painting and drawing at Pratt Institute and retired as Adjunct Professor of Fine Arts in 2018. I live and work in Branford, CT.
