The George Flynn Classical Concerts were a gift from Clinton resident George S. Flynn who died in 1997. He established these concerts for the benefit, education and pleasure of the inhabitants of the Town of Clinton. He had a deep love of music, being an amateur violinist, which he shared with his late wife Eirene Smythe, an amateur pianist. Today many people throughout the state enjoy coming to these fine free concerts where many great artists have been featured. The series welcomes well known performers who bring all avenues of classical music to our audiences and sponsors an out-reach program for Clinton students.
