A multi-faceted arts program providing support to Hospice patients and families. Since 1979 The Connecticut Hospice Arts Program has provided a variety of arts interventions to hospice patients and families to improve quality of life, facilitate expression, reduce stress, nurture the mind and spirit, and to complement medical and other interventions in easing physical symptoms. Staff and volunteers offer art, art therapy, music, music therapy, crafts, performance and literary arts 365 days a year at our  in-patient hospice hospital in Branford and in home care throughout the State of Connecticut. Community artists and performers are invited to exhibit and perform for our in-patients. Area artists, musicians, writers and others in the arts are encouraged to volunteer in the program in- patient and in home care.
