Two annual MasterWorks Chorus productions are presented in early December and either March or April. On several occasions since 2000, the MasterWorks Chorus has been I invited by MidAmerica Productions to join with other choruses from across the country to perform at Carnegie Hall.Cappella Cantorum Men's Chorus began in 1977. The Men's Chorus is available to be booked for fund-raising concerts or just for fun. The repertoire features sea chanteys, show tunes, spirituals and barbershop selections. The Men's Chorus performs each summer while the Masterworks Chorus is on hiatus.Cappella Cantorum International Tour Chorus has traveled since 1981, generally in odd-numbered years and has visited Europe and Canada on concert tours combining sightseeing with concerts in local venues and participation in local church services. In 1987, Cappella Cantorum started the SummerSings Series, informal read-throughs of choral masterworks led by local professional conductors and soloists, now co-sponsored by Con Brio Choral Society. These sessions provide singers with the opportunity to enjoy choral works without the pressure of preparing for performance. They offer, as well, the experience to work with some nationally and internationally acclaimed conductors.
